A bit like the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics Games in London we have been awaiting this moment for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. OK, the wait for the steel hasn’t been that long but we have been eagerly anticipating its arrival for some weeks now.
But as you will be able to see from the pictures as soon as it arrived it was being unloaded and then quickly slotted into place. It has been a display of some really hard work by the builders on the site today. We are really beginning to see the shape of the new Conference Hall now. With the arrival of more steel and an even bigger crane as the week progresses it should be an exciting phase of the project.
Wow! Imagine the young people at International youth Week (my son being one of them) are enjoying the building going up before their eyes.
